The Story
Two roommates saw a problem at the gym. So we built the fix.
From Tennessee, and tired of watching people scroll mindless brainrot between sets.

The drive home
It started on the drive home from the gym.
We had just left our local college gym, the kind that is always packed, where half your session is spent waiting on a machine. And the whole time, everyone around us was glued to their phones between sets, scrolling the same bogus, unrealistic stuff that mainstream social media pushes all day. It bugged us. The gym is supposed to be the one place you get away from all that, and the feed had followed everyone in. On the drive home we said it out loud. There has to be a better way to do this.
SweatCheck is the social media that makes you better, not worse.
Why this, and why us
We are not marketers who chased a trend. We are two gym rats who live this.
Cooper found the gym the hard way, rehabbing a torn ACL from high school, and never left. The training, the progress, the people became the best part of his day. Kyle came to it when his basketball career ended, traded the court for the rack, and went deep enough to study it, a kinesiology degree at Tennessee. Different roads, same place. Walk into any gym and people are pushing each other, no matter what stage they are at. That community carried both of us. Online, it had nowhere to live.

Cooper Fairman
Co-Founder & CEO
“I love the gym community. Everyone in there is grinding, competing to become a better version of themselves, and that is what I love most.”

Kyle Keener
Co-Founder & COO
“I love the gym community because everyone supports everyone, no matter where they are in their fitness journey. There is so much support in every gym.”
Where it clicked
It got real in a college kitchen.
We were college roommates, cooking a post workout meal, when we stopped talking about the problem and started building the fix. The more we talked it through, the more we believed in it. We knew the gym community needed a real home, and we knew we could not let the idea die. So we bet on ourselves and set out to make SweatCheck.
What we built
So we built the home the gym community never had.
On SweatCheck you post your workout and your community is watching, so your streak stops being a private number and becomes a commitment to the people training alongside you. Miss a day and they notice. Show up and they are right there with you. It is a feed for real progress and health wins, not highlight reels. The tips you pick up come from people chasing the same thing you are. Every other fitness app is a tracker, a spreadsheet with a login. We kept the part that matters most. The people.
Lock In
You get to the gym, we send the Lock In. Your distracting apps go quiet so you focus on the work, not your feed.
Daily Sweat Post
Snap the workout and drop it in the feed. Real reps, no highlight reel.
Build Your Streak
Every post extends your Sweat Streak. Rest days are built in, so it holds.
